I've seen you...Tiff, that is exactly the point. I've seen your photography and I think it is quite good, but the point is you think it is quite good. You love it. That comes out in every image, in the details and the craft. You've found your passion. And I know how rewarding it is to help people learn to write so I know the way that makes you feel. Who gives a damn about anything else? Do the damned work you were born to do.

I think about you every time I hear James Brown. Good God, sometimes I feel so good I wanna jump back... kiss myself. Only James Brown could pull that one off...John Lofflinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15278336968891726815noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4413758965958565043.post-56300475642533045542012-03-17T12:41:03.123-05:002012-03-17T12:41:03.123-05:00It takes a lot of courage to get old. Sometimes I ...It takes a lot of courage to get old. Sometimes I think of my dad, who died at 51, and realize he never had to go through the things I've gone through. He never had a parent die, or had to take care of someone sick. Living through things like that takes a lot of courage. I've had to stop caring what people think since graduating from Park. People ask, "Where do you work? How much money do you make?" I tell them, "I work for myself as a photographer, and I tutor students in writing at a community college." The looks on their faces make it obvious they think I'm a failure most of the time. I don't care though. I wouldn't trade my college experience for anything. You always came off to me as a deep thinker and I think that's why we got along so well (most of the time haha). I think about our Ethics class all the time when I'm making decisions, even the simple grocery store ones, haha. So happy birthday Mr. Lofflin! I'm glad you have the courage to keep evaluating yourself and your life :)Tiffanyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14191895337494831117noreply@blogger.com
